Ilmiöiden yö (« Night of Phenomena ») is a multidisciplinary urban arts event held in Seinäjoki, Finland, showcasing the richness and diversity of the local cultural scene. The event brings together a wide range of artistic expressions and culture, from music and theatre to visual arts, experimental performances and museum exhibitions, transforming the city into an open platform for culture.

Designed to highlight local talent, Ilmiöiden yö offers a stage for artists, performers and cultural organisations to present their work to a broad audience. The event encourages accessibility and discovery, inviting visitors to experience art in unexpected settings across the city.

Originally developed in 2023 for the event Syysilmiö, the visual identity, based on an illustration of an owl, was refreshed in 2026. The identity is derived from the visual language of Ilmiö magazine, creating a cohesive connection between the publication and the event while adapting its elements to suit a dynamic, city-wide experience. Based on this identity, a comprehensive range of materials was produced, including posters, social media content and graphics, as well as a full WordPress website. The updated identity supports a diverse programme while maintaining a strong, recognisable presence across platforms.

The next edition of Ilmiöiden yö will take place on Friday, 4 September 2026.

The event is organised by the Taide Seinäjoki Network, a collective of art and cultural organisations based in Seinäjoki. Its members include the City of Seinäjoki, Kulttuurikollektiivi Silta, Seinäjoki City Orchestra, Seinäjoki City Theatre, Seinäjoki Museums, Seinäjoki Art Hall, and the University of the Arts Helsinki Seinäjoki Unit.
